Chelsea fans are saying Cole Palmer is their best signing since Eden Hazard after another impressive display for the Blues.

“The best player on the park is Palmer," he said.

"He just looks levels above everybody.”

And Palmer's highlights from the game would appear to back up the statement from Murray.

Playing off the right but with the freedom to roam, Palmer was the main source of Chelsea's creativity and was a joy to watch throughout, supplying a slew of glorious touches and defence-splitting passes.

He set up Sterling's goal to seal the win in the second half and played with a real swagger and confidence.

But fast forward a few months and Palmer has genuinely been Chelsea's best player this season.

Palmer played 85 minutes against Blackburn and was replaced after taking a knock to his ankle.
