Conor McGregor reacts to Johnny Walker's bizarre incident with doctor at UFC 294

Conor McGregor has reacted to the controversial UFC 294 moment between the doctor and Johny Walker.

Walker's light-heavyweight fight against Magomed Ankalaev was stopped over three minutes into the first round following the intervention of the medical official.

Ankalaev landed an illegal knee on Walker, who was deemed unable to continue.

The referee waved off the contest following the instructions of the doctor, with UFC CEO Dana White left furious over the incident.

McGregor has made light of the stoppage as he reacted to a joke on X.

The exchange between Walker and the doctor has become a meme on social media, with the Irishman laughing at a joke made online.

He reacted with three laughing face emojis of an image of the UFC fighter and the ringside physician, accompanied with the caption: "Train A leaves New York at 7am traveling at 60mph, train B leaves Boston at 8am traveling 80mph."

Walker, who trains with McGregor's head coach John Kavanagh, had been on a three-fight winning streak before UFC 294.

A second meeting between Walker and Ankalaev could happen following the controversial outcome on Saturday.

Speaking after UFC 294, White took aim at the doctor's lack of experience and revealed what the Brazilian fighter told him inside the Octagon.

"The guy’s inexperienced. I think there’s a lot of things that probably happened," he said during his post-fight press conference. "I guess he asked him 'where are you right now?' and his response was 'I’m in the desert'. He’s not wrong."

The UFC boss added: "I think there’s a big language barrier in there between the two of them. Inexperience [from the doctor]. It sucks.

"It’s one of those things that happen sometimes but we’ll make it right and we’ll fix it."
