Alejandro Garnacho mocked by Man United teammate Facundo Pellistri over EAFC 24 team

Alejandro Garnacho was brutally mocked by one of his Manchester United teammates on social media over his EA Sports FC 24 team.

Since the much-anticipated game launched back in September, gamers around the world have been trying to build their own Ultimate Team.

During the latest international break, United star Garnacho posted a picture of his team on social media.

The Argentine’s team included legends like Peter Schmeichel, Patrick Vieira and Ronaldo Nazario. Garnacho also included himself on the left side of the attack.

After seeing Garnacho’s team on social media, teammate Facundo Pellistri took the opportunity to mock the Argentine.

The Uruguayan wrote: “And he still can’t win any games.”

To which Garnacho replied: “Still 3-0 in games against you. Stop spending money it won’t make you good.”

Pellistri then hit back with: “He is lying.”

Whilst Garncho has been spending his international break building his EAFC 24 Ultimate Team, Pellistri has impressed many after putting in a strong performance during Uruguay’s 2-0 win over Argentine.

Pellistri completed four dribbles during the clash, more than any other player on the pitch.

After the match, the 21-year-old was heavily praised by Uruguayan news outlet El Observador, who stated: “He played a tremendous game because his role transcended the offensive work and became an important piece in the defensive structure because when Uruguay lost the ball he quickly put pressure on the ball again.

“He was involved in all the risky plays on Emiliano Martinez’s goal.”

Speaking after the match, Pellistri reportedly said: “The key was in following areas, in being united, compact, and when the ball was recovered, damaging in speed.”

Uruguay will now take on Bolivia on Tuesday night before the players head back to their respective clubs.
