Saudi Arabia have selected their top two Premier League transfer targets for January

Man Utd winger Jadon Sancho and Spurs striker Richarlison have been linked with moves to Saudi Arabia in January.

The Saudi Pro League is already gearing up for the winter window and is finalising how much each top club will have to spend.

Last summer, 13 Premier League players decided to swap England for the Middle East. Among those were Liverpool trio Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, Manchester City duo Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte, plus Newcastle cult hero Allan Saint-Maximin.

They also spent big overseas, bringing in Neymar and Spanish midfield prospect Gabriel Veiga.

Per The Telegraph, Saudi officials have accepted long-term targets Mohamed Salah and Song Heung-min will be hard to obtain in the January transfer window.

Salah is in the middle of a fine season for Liverpool and Son has become Spurs' main man under Ange Postecoglou following Harry Kane's departure for Bayern Munich.

It means they may turn their attention to players further down their wishlist, with United outcast Sancho a strong possibility, given his exile.

Sancho claimed he's been made a 'scapegoat' in a now-deleted tweet, but he's refused to apologise to Ten Hag privately or publicly.

Richarlison is currently out after undergoing surgery on his pelvis but his game time has reduced since the arrival of Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest.

Johnson scored his first goal for the club in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers and is considered a top prospect.

After undergoing surgery last week, Richarlison posted to Instagram: "Since the beginning of the year, I've been dealing with unbearable pain, affecting my performance and joy on the field.

"A few days ago, I decided it was time to prioritise my health, recover, and regain the physical condition for my best performance and, most importantly, to live without the pain I've been feeling.

"Now, I'm heading home to rest a bit and kick off the recovery process. I know there will be challenging days without doing what I love most in life, but it wouldn't be fair to myself, my club, and the national team to keep neglecting my health.

"Very soon, I'll be back, God willing, 100 per cent recovered and ready for the challenges ahead!"
