Fans think Liverpool should be down to 10 men after 'clear red card' challenge vs Brentford

Fans think Liverpool should be down to 10 men after Wataru Endo's reckless challenge against Brentford.

Liverpool are currently beating Brentford 3-0 at Anfield thanks to a brace from Mohamed Salah and another from Diogo Jota.

However, at just 1-0 up, the game looked as though it might turn on its head when summer signing Endo lunged in on Christian Norgaard, clattering into the Brentford midfielder's ankle. After a lengthy review, VAR decided that it was not serious foul play.

You can watch the challenge below.

Although plenty of fans reckon Endo should have been shown his marching orders, with one supporter tweeting: "Clear red card."

Another added: "If this Manchester United Red Card how on earth is this not a red card."

While a third chimed in: "That’s two red card offences in his last two games. Ridiculous."

However, others agreed with the decision, with one fan tweeting: "That’s not a red card. Not even a yellow."

Do you think Endo should have been sent off? Let us know in the comments.
