Conor McGregor responds to Drake bet for Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis fight with brutal three-word message

Conor McGregor sent a three-word message to Drake ahead of Logan Paul and Dillon Danis’ bout.

YouTube star Paul, who has ventured into WWE, boxing and the business world in recent years, is set to box compatriot Danis in Manchester on Saturday, on the undercard of KSI vs Tommy Fury.

And rapper Drake has taken to Instagram to confirm he has placed a massive $850,000 (£698,000) on Paul to knock out Danis.

The Canadian, who is known for placing (and frequently losing) sizeable bets on fights, shared a screenshot of his betting slip for Paul to knock out Danis on social media, with the potential payout at $1,351,500 (£1,110,318).

Drake captioned the screenshot: “Never bet against personal vendetta and settling scores.”

Indeed, the build-up to the fight has been unsavoury, with Danis having repeatedly taken aim at Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, on social media.

The 30-year-old posted several photos and clips of the Danish model with various men, leading Agdal to be granted a temporary restraining order in September.

Despite Drake believing Paul will be spurred on by the bitter feud, Conor McGregor, who is Danis’ former team-mate, was quick to disagree with the musician.

Commenting on Drake’s Instagram, McGregor simply said: “Dillon all day!”

While Danis is a jiu-jitsu champion and former MMA fighter, he has never competed in the boxing ring and even withdrew from a scheduled bout with KSI in January citing a lack of training.

Moreover, despite his black-belt jiu-jitsu prowess, Danis was filmed getting caught in a choke by a bouncer in 2021, though the fighter notably had a significant injury at the time.
