Man Utd 'in talks' with European giants over Jadon Sancho deal as wage demands revealed

Manchester United are still in contact with a European powerhouse over the transfer of Jadon Sancho ahead of the transfer window reopening in January.

Sancho has been the subject of intense transfer speculation after being banished from the first-team by Erik ten Hag.

He hasn't played for the Red Devils since his social media outburst following his omission from his side's 3-1 defeat at Arsenal back in September.

The 23-year-old is expected to leave Old Trafford during the January window, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano providing an update on his situation.

A host of clubs have expressed their interest in the out-of-favour Man United star, with Barcelona and clubs in Saudi Arabia thought to be in the running to sign the winger.

But, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Juventus are still in negotiations with Man United over the transfer of Sancho.

The Serie A giants are willing to pay a part of his salary as talks continue. Though Man United would like to sell him in a permanent deal.

Galetti also claims a move to Saudi Arabia is not a 'concrete' option.

Juve currently occupy second place in the league, having won nine of their 12 league games this season.

They are two points adrift of league leaders Inter Milan as Max Allegri looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of the second half of the campaign.

Sancho could also improve Juve's output as the Old Lady have scored just 19 league goals this season, which is less than their rivals Inter, AC Milan, Napoli and Atalanta.

But he has played just three games this term, having played 41 games in all competitions last season.

He has scored a total of 12 goals since his £73 million switch from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.
