Al Hilal slammed for choice of graphic after Neymar’s ACL injury

Saudi Professional League side Al Hilal have been slammed for their choice of graphic when wishing Neymar a speedy recovery.

On Tuesday night, Neymar was in action as Brazil took on Uruguay in the 2026 World Cup qualifying round.

Goals from Darwin Nunez and Nicolas De La Cruz sealed a 2-0 win for Uruguay.

Brazil’s poor night was worsened by a serious knee injury suffered by Neymar, who was replaced at the end of the first half.

“It's not easy going through injury and surgery, imagine going through all that again after 4 months of recovery. I have faith, even too much... But the strength I put in the hands of God so that he can renew mine. Thanks for the messages of support and love.”
